Welcome to the Frederick Symphony Orchestra's
2007-2008 Season!

Dear
FSO Friends,
Welcome to our Eleventh Season! We hope that you will join us for an exciting
season filled with great music. Packed with sentimental favorites and challenging
repertoire, the menu has something for everyone. We are especially fortunate
this year to have a glittering cast of soloists. Baltimore trombonist Brandon
Rivera tackles Larsson’s dazzling Concertino in October and British
pianist Rachel Franklin performs Beethoven’s majestic Piano Concerto
No. 1 in
May. In response to last year’s sold-out Holiday Pops Concert, we will be
adding a second performance in December. Those concerts will feature the
iconic Baroque masterpiece, Vivaldi’s
Four Seasons, performed by the amazing Lisa Vaupel. Don’t miss it!
And of course, we are always proud to present our annual Young Artist Competition
in March. Enjoy the show!
